Deb has over 20 years of research experience. Prior to forming The Research Shop, Deb was employed with General Growth Properties, the world’s second largest mall owner and management firm. As Vice President of Consumer Research at GGP, she oversaw the design and execution of over 300 research projects and facilitated over 100 SWOT and business plan meetings.

Previously, Deb was employed by MPSI Systems, a consumer research and site location company specializing in the grocery industry and mass merchandising. Deb has a degree in Business and Marketing from St Cloud State University and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Marketing Research Association, and the American Marketing Association. She holds a Professional Researcher Certification (PRC) through the Marketing Research Association.

Deb has authored two studies published by ICSC: Office Worker Spending Patterns and How the Recession has Impacted Consumer Shopping Habits (Phase 1 & 2).
